Great Granny Flats is a locally owned family business based on the Mid Coast NSW. We employ local trades, services and suppliers, and provide a responsive, friendly and reliable service.
Understanding clients specific needs and their desired outcomes from the outset, allows us to design and deliver a granny flat that is fit for purpose.
We have over 30 years of building experience in custom building, extensions and the home transformation field, and that wealth of knowledge is being concentrated into Great Granny Flats.

The Founders
Rod & Kathy, together for 30 years, married, travelled, family, and supported each others businesses and now enjoying the beautiful open spaces of the Mid Coast near where Rod’s dad grew up.
Rod first qualified as a carpenter & joiner then followed the formal pathway to achieving a full builders license in 1996. Rod keeps fit, healthy & sharp with a range of sporting activities.
Kathy has a corporate background and provides essential client support. She loves her pets, her chickens and tending to her gardens.
