Cathedral Roofed Extension - Inside
This recent project, a cathedral roofed extension and internal renovation, was inspired by an earlier project we had completed showcasing a raking roof line that created a impressive sense of open space. There was a slow design period up until then, but for these owners, discovering a previous project of ours and how it excited them, was the design inspiration to get this project underway. Scope - develop a design using the architect, owner and our construction input, demolish rear of house, lay new foundations, build new extension, including new bathroom/laundry combo, kitchen, deck & skylights, as well as reconfiguring internal areas, and internal & external painting

Two Storey Additions & Renovation
These owners were happy where they lived, and considered using an unknown volume builder, but chose to use us instead as we were known to them. So we set about completing their desired renovation on their two storey home. Scope - develop a design with the architect, owner and our construction input, build a new bedroom extension upstairs, reconfigure the remaining upstairs walls to create new bathroom, living area and 2nd bedroom. Downstairs - build a new lounge room & sunroom extension, relocate the kitchen with added extension, extend B1, build a new entry, new ensuite, new deck, new windows, new flooring and painting throughout.

Granny Flat (Under Construction)
We have designed this Secondary Dwelling incorporating passive solar design elements - orientation, cross flow ventilation, raked ceiling leading to clerestory windows allowing for heat release and additional natural lighting. Clerestory windows while providing natural light also allow privacy curtains to be drawn on the lower windows and doors. There are two bedrooms, bathroom, separate WC and laundry, and will comfortably provide for the occupants.

Incorporated New Kids Bathroom
From horrible to heaven, the owners two kids now had a respectable bathroom to use, and each with their own basin - just like grown ups have. This is part of the two storey renovation described above.
-

Major Renovation with Hero Kitchen
This double brick recent project included knocking down several internal walls to open up the living space and create a new kitchen/dining area, master bedroom with new ensuite, new laundry and new living spaces. We installed new timber joinery windows and doors drawing the focal point to our highly detailed kitchen including our signature walk-in pantry

Cathederal Roofed Extension - Outside
Let there be light! This is the outside view of the project above. From a previous dark and dingy back of house that we demolished, and the owners glad to see gone, to a fresh, open connection to the backyard, with direct sight-line from the kitchen to the pool and a kitchen servery opening onto the deck complete with bar fridge and bar stools for mum, dad and friends to enjoy a cool one while they watch over their kids playing in the pool

Incorporated New Bathroom/Laundry Combo
Our tiler produced an excellent finish on this project, superior to what others may have done. It’s truly a pleasure to showcase high quality work. And black accents make it pop.
-

New Hero Kitchen
Another recent project, here we completely gutted the old kitchen and working with the owners, crafted a whole new layout with many up to date and new features. Finished with poly shaker doors with timber tops and walk-in signature custom pantry
-

Two Storey Additions & Renovation
We were able to finish this project four weeks ahead of schedule - what was key to making this possible was that the owners had moved out, meaning, not only did we have unhindered access throughout, significantly less time and cost was required to maintain a daily habitable level of safety, cleanliness and security for the occupants. See above for more details.

Extension - Turning a Pad into a Home
From a humble compact cottage we turned this dwelling into a home with wrap around verandah, increasing to three bedrooms, en-suite to master, and now with separate kitchen, dining and lounge. This is an example of earlier work.

Extension & Major Renovation
Perched on a hill with commanding views, the owners engaged us for this major reconfiguration project. Scope - demolish back of old house, demolish old roof structure cut and pitch new redesigned roof, build extension orienting new large living spaces and large deck towards existing views. Install new cedar windows, re-clad whole of house with rusticated western red cedar cladding. This is an example of earlier work.

It all begins with an idea.
